Alok Jain (Founder and CEO)
He graduated from IIT Bombay in Electrical Engineering. For past 8 years he has been working with small start-up to large Fortune 500 companies. He has extensive experience with semiconductor memory & microprocessor test & product. He worked as a product/test engineer for world’s first 3 dimensional NAND memory chip (fabricated with existing fab process tools) at Matrix Semiconductors. He was one of the pioneer members of Infineon Technologies 12 member talent acceleration program. He also founded tulsana a Texas based global staffing & software solutions company. He is also serving as a board member of the Young TiE (a part of Houston chapter of TiE).
Deepak Goyal (Founder and President)
He is a technology enthusiast with MS in Computer Science from IIT Roorkee. He founded Wings Technologies in Bangalore, India and led the company for two years as CEO, before getting involved with tulsana and eZdia. He has a vast experience of building and managing team, bringing concepts from ideation to deliverable product. At Cisco and Sun Microsystems, he played role of Architect in Architecture solution team. He also architected the World’s first E-tendering system on Mobile devices using Java application interfaces and Bluetooth. He has presented several papers at International conferences and premier education institutes across United States,China and India. He is an inventor for five pending patents.
Rahul Shah (VP Technology)
He is a technical evangelist with a MS in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He has 8 years of experience with Sun Microsystems at different worldwide locations and has expertise in the area of Instant Messaging and email servers. He has 5 pending patents to his credit and has published several research papers.
Amit Sharma (VP Marketing)
Amit Sharma has 8 years of experience in Core Business Consulting & Business Process Mapping involving the areas like Supply chain Planning & High tech Manufacturing. He was one of the co-founder of one of the online gaming websites and has also played a great role in success of popular online dating website inmatch. He has served a big range of industries including high tech, Fast Moving consumer goods, online networking, Automobile, Heavy machinery industries and worked with some of the most respected players like Sony, Hitachi , Procter & Gamble, Vaio, Oracle etc. Amit holds an MBA in Marketing and Systems Management from NITIE, Mumbai.
Anand Vayuvegula (VP Business strategy)
Anand Vayuvegula has 8 years of experience. He started his career with Digital Equipment Systems as a Systems Analyst responsible for requirements gathering, data analysis and software development. Through the mergers with Compaq and finally with HP, he has worked through different roles from risk analysis, Project management, Solution Architect and has also worked with external trade customers like ProBusiness, Proctor and Gamble, and State Farm. Anand has a Masters in Information Technology from IIIT-B. He also holds an MBA with majors in Business Strategy and Supply Chain from Fisher College of Business, The Ohio State University. His interests are in Supply Chain, Business Strategy, Prediction & Information markets to leverage the collective wisdom of crowds.
Vinita Goyal (Secretary)
Vinita is an innovative and result driven leader with experience to manage and drive small/mid size startups. She holds an MBA in finance from India with specialization in International business and Intellectual property management. She handled the responsibility of managing, finance, capital and legal for Lead Wings Technologies Bangalore, India. Before Wings she worked in Millennium Synergy India Pvt. Ltd. and Coordinated financial reporting functions of 3 locations and supervised payroll for entire division.
Shveta Jain (Treasurer)
Shveta’s career has centered on marketing, financial management and entrepreneurship. With vision to deliver innovative staffing & technology solutions to various businesses, she co-founded Tulsana. Her accomplishment includes forecasting & strategic planning for hospital region with revenue of more than 650Million dollars. She also handled marketing for one of the largest real estate group in India. She holds an MBA in marketing & finance. With her several years of experience in finance and managing cross-functions, and incorporated intuitive ability to see the “big picture”, presently she is leading eZdia as ‘treasurer’.
Kapal Anand (President, Global Strategic Alliance)
He is a seasoned veteran of the technology industry with over 40 years of experience with IBM and Xerox. His outstanding record in strategy and execution in streamlining operations and IT outsourcing services speaks volumes about his experience in the high tech industry.
He has held senior executive positions at IBM Global Services division, including Vice President of IBM, India and is currently the President of Global Strategic Alliance through which he helps companies to streamline and optimize their business processes resulting in savings of millions of dollars.
He possesses a unique combination of strategic leadership and management skills which is reflected in his over 40 years of experience in various leadership and management roles.
Sanjay Sarathy (VP, Marketing at Vindicia)
Sanjay is an Economics graduate from Stanford University with an MBA from University of California, Berkeley. He has worked in a variety of executive leadership roles distinguished organizations including NetDynamics, Sun Microsystems, and Above All Software.
He led the community developer group at Sun Microsystems as its Director and was instrumental in building in one of the largest open source developer community in the world. His vision and exemplary leadership skills has taken this community group from its infancy stage to being one of the largest communities of its kind with scores of applications based on Sun’s open source technologies being created every day.
He is currently heading the Marketing group at Vindicia, a technology startup that provides billing and fraud management for online merchants.
Ashok Rao (CEO, Excalibur Pictures)
He is a serial entrepreneur, with four successful technology start-ups over the past 18 years. He founded Midcom Communications which grew to a company with annual revenues of $250 Million culminating in a successful IPO with a market cap in excess of $400 Million in 1995. He also founded 3 other companies including Enron Energy Services, Trex Communications Corp and Prime Wave Communications.
He has a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi, a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from Marquette University, and a Diploma in Financial Management from the London School of Economics.
He is also an “Angel Investor” in six high-tech startups. Also, he is on the Board of several private and public companies as well as serving as the President of the Houston chapter of TiE – the world’s largest organization of entrepreneurs with over 12,000 members in 49 chapters across 11 countries.
In addition to technology startups, he also has interests in the entertainment arena through his venture Excalibur Pictures, which has produced three full length feature films since 2006. They are The Whisperers, Before the Rains and The Lost Tribe.

Ashish Jain
A passionate and ambitious technical lead with Master in Computer Applications (MCA) from U.P. Technical University, Lucknow. He has over 4 years of technology experience with Cadence Design system(Noida), Wings-Technologies(Bangalore) and Buongiorno HongKong Limited (Delhi). In Buongiorno Hong Kong limited he led the team with the responsibility for Solution Architect and Development of application framework and blueprints for Telecom VAS (Value Added Services -Short Code telecom services). His area of interest includes Java technologies (J2EE, J2ME), Java Script, Ajax, Web development, XMPP (Instant Messaging), CMS and Search Engines.
Imran Khan Mohammed
Imran is a UI designer by hobby. He started his career with Sun Microsystem, IEC Bangalore and worked in various products like N1 Fusion, Sun N1 SPS & B2B eXchange. He is currently providing consulting to Citibank, NA in Singapore. His skill set includes Core Java, PRO-C,PL/SQL, JSF, JavaScript, AJAX, DOJO, CSS, Hibernate etc. His area of interest includes, UI design, Backend Database, theory of computations, Compilers, Data Structures & Algorithms. He possess a MS in Software Systems from BITS, Pilani. He is a university rank holder in BS (CS).
Chaitanya Goyal
He is an upcoming, young discoverer & dream achiever face in software development market with BS in Computer Science & Engineering from IITM Gwalior. He is expert in div programming for website development. His skill set includes Java technologies, JSP, JavaScript , HTML, Ajax, CSS, MySql etc. His area of interest includes, web technologies, telecom & backend database.
Jagdish Salgotra
He has a Masters in Computer Application (MCA) from P.G. Dept. of Computer Sciences, University of Jammu. His area of interest includes, Operating Systems, Data Structure and Computer Networks. His expertise includes, core Java, web technologies, Ajax, Jasper Reports, XML and XSLT.
